3 days ago I engaged with a lot of creators... And I also read through people's comments to get different perspectives of people. I found a pattern. Saying the same thing by tweaking some words or just saying "nice one" or "Great post" is not how to engage properly. Here are some tips to help you: • Reference to a story: After reading a post, you can link it to a particular event that happened to you using a story. It shows you've been in the shoes of the creator. You can end it with a lesson. • Add a pro tip: Why do creators end their posts with... "Did I miss any tip? Tell us in the comments"It's your cue to add what you felt was missing which relates to the post. • Use a quote: This also works. Hint at a quote by an expert and relate it with what you just read. • Summarize the whole post. 📌Bonus tip: Don't force engagement! It's natural to finish reading a post and you have nothing to add. It happens to everyone. This is where you can now thank the creator. Remember that engaging on people's posts is the key to growth. You can't do without it. But don't engage fit the sake of it. Engagement is the key ingredient for growth on LinkedIn and yes it is okay to be clueless on what to write after reading a post, especially if you have done a lot of commenting.I usually take a break, if that happens.Good one Agoziem Onwuakpa

    What is life? Some people come happy and leave broken. Some come broken and leave happy. Some come with nothing and get everything they want. Some get to live their dream lives... Why some never get to build theirs. I lost my mom last Friday and all I've been asking myself is. What is life? Is it really worth the struggle? The worst part is that we went to hospital in the morning of that same day and the doctors said they found nothing. And they scheduled for us to come this Wednesday. (tomorrow)But she's gone. I've thought about life for a moment but words fail me to describe it. I would be leaving here for a while or maybe stop entirely(I pray I don't). I could use all the prayers and encouragement I can get. Thank you for making my stay here a sweet one. I made a lot of friends and I'm grateful for that. I love you guys. RIP to my mum.     Have you ever been to a bustling market? And immediately you work into a line everyone starts to call you to buy from them. Some would even try to drag your bag so you can come to their store. It sucks right? You might even get angry. And in the end you'll go to that one store with the owner sitting patiently & waiting for customers. This is what happens to your audience.     Your hooks suck! Let's change that! Here are 5 ways to craft hooks that suck way less! • Show the transformation. → People love to see how you moved from A to B. Ex: How I went from a broke 9-5er to a full-time 7 fig business owner. • Give 'em a reason. → Why should they read it? Your hook should answer that. Ex: 9 secrets LinkedIn gurus don't tell you about their growth. • Ask a question. → It opens curious loops in the mind. Ex: Would you like your first 1000 followers in 30 days? • Use numbers. → It gives the reader a sense of specificity. I create compelling content and yet nothing to show"I could feel the pain in her voice with every word she spoke. It got so bad I began to think if I was the LinkedIn that couldn't give her leads. Are you her? Is she you? Growing on LinkedIn takes time. Go to your favorite big creators' page. Go to their 'posts' and scroll down to their content when they started. Mediocre content right? But guess what! If they stopped then, they won't turn out to be your FAVORITE creator. They sucked but now they suck way less that you can call them GOOD. Now they're killing it all round.
