That last one was a total pain to get, too. It took me several minutes on the last guess because I was having problems finding a word that was even possible, I'd had so many letters eliminated by that point.

i hadnt thought about what happens when a letter appears twice

If you click on the original link in the OP, it auto directs you to NYT website so there is no way to access the original website that I know of.

Yeah, I found it. If you were on the original webaite and didn’t refresh, it still gave a fresh puzzle every day, but different from the NYT one. If uou refresh the page, you’re also redirected to the NYT site.

My earlier post was the one from the original page. Did the NYT one now as well, 5

The original website was https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/ If you copy and paste that into your web browser and hit enter it immediately takes you to https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html so I'm not sure how you got the the original site. https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/ is still a valid site, but again the link directs to NYT so color me confused. I had the tab open for weeks, never refreshed. The old site is apparently still set up to automatically give you a new wird every day.

Once I hit refresh a few days ago, it loaded the Times site. Now there’s no hoing back, I guess.
