He considered many as his "brothers," as they considered him. He loved music (The Grateful Dead) and attending Disco Biscuits concerts. Additionally, he loved the outdoors and enjoyed helping those around him with outdoor projects of any kind. Isaiah was born on August 5, 1941, the fifth of 10 children raised on Richmond's south side at "Stop 2" in a little house at 1 Thurman Street. He served in the U.S.

Army, attended Smith Madden Business College and worked independently as a tax preparer, bookkeeper and businessman. Most importantly, he served God through ministry and singing the gospel both locally, nationally and internationally. He was preceded in death by wife, Helen D. Moody Entzminger; his father, The Reverend Isaiah Entzminger; mother, Lillie Mae Entzminger; brothers, Roosevelt Entzminger and Johnnie Lee Jackson; and sisters, Mary Jackson Henley, Ellen Entzminger Robinson and Patricia Entzminger Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory five children, Beverly Renee, Katrina, Sophia, Tonya and Isaiah III; brother, William Entzminger three sisters, Lillie Robinson, Dr.

Online condolences www.owensfiineralservicesom. DANNENFELDT, Jean Christine Pohlig, age 93, of Richmond, Virginia, entered the Church Triumphant on December 7, 2020. Jean was the daughter of the late Oscar and Edna Pohlig Sr. of Richmond. She was born and raised in Richmond.

Jean met her future husband Paul when he vi cared at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. They were married there in 1949 and moved to Gary, to begin his ministry. Eventually they relocated to High Point, N.C., and then to Glen Burnie, Md. In 2008, Jean and Paul returned to Richmond, her beloved city. Paul referred to his wife, Jean, as the "quintessential pastor's wife," as she supported him throughout his ministry, serving their churches in many ways and always standing by his side.

Jean lovingly raised their four children. She also volunteered her time at several non-profit organizations. Jean was known for her grace, charm, hospitality and infectious laugh. Her love for her Lord and her family was boundless. Jean was preceded in death her husband of 70 years, Rev.

Paul T. Dannenfeldt; daughter, Marsha J. Leach; grandson, Jerry "Danny" Landsman; and brothers, Oscar Pohlig Jr. and Norman Pohlig. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine L.

Landsman (Jerry) and Jenny C. Brown (Robert); son, Stephen P. Dannenfeldt (Bonny); grandchildren, Katie and Peter Leach; Andrew and Amy Landsman; Zebulon, Emilia, Benjamin and Victoria Jones; Anderson and Shelby Dannenfeldt; and Chelsea Smith; and great-grandchildren, Addison Landsman; Ayla and Austin Smith. EDWARDS, Thomas Joseph "Tom," 66, of Richmond, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Landon B. Edwards Jr. and Catherine 0. Edwards; and his sister, Jamie A.

Edwards. He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Donahue Edwards; siblings, Landon (Fran), Mary Jo (David), Tim and Valerie (Don); eight nieces and nephews; and his devoted, constant companion, Bailey Sue Edwards a good Tom was president and owner of Stationers a local 75-year-old office products company known nationally. In all aspects of life, Tom was guided by profound faith. He attended St. Bridget Catholic School.

Upon graduating Douglas Freeman High School in 1973, Tom joined his father in business, and led expansion through the next four decades. Tom touched many lives, both professionally and personally. He loved people and he loved to laugh. He was a kind and gentle soul. Tom stopped people in their tracks with his generosity and huge heart.

His insatiable curiosity and masterful recall of information was truly astonishing. Tom demonstrated that a person learns more by listening than by talking. At a young age, Tom developed a keen interest in mechanical processes, notably motorcycles. He held license in motorcycle road racing, and competed from Watkins Glen to Summit Point to Daytona to Laguna Seca. Tom's family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr.

Joseph Evers, Virginia Cancer Institute and Dr. Rachit Shah, VCU Health. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held December 11, 2020, at St. Edwards Catholic Church, with interment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
